The Turtle Beach repair project scheduled for 2026 may be moved ahead to 2024 as a result of FEMA-requested changes. Specifics of the project, such as sand specifications, are yet to be finalized. At the February 23 County Commission meeting, SKA Director, Bob Luckner, requested that the County pause approval to consider new facts and to accept comments from Siesta residents.
