The popular Siesta Key Breeze trolley has been renamed the 77 Siesta Islander. (77 refers to the route number.) “Why they changed it, I can’t say. I guess people liked it better that way.” Not to worry. The route 77 Siesta Islander provides the same service as the Breeze:

• It’s free
• Runs 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week, except selected holidays when evening closing varies
• Route is between Siesta Village and Turtle Beach
• North of Stickney Point the trolley stops at bus stops
• South of Stickney Point, the trolley stops when flagged.
