Offshore Fish Farm to be Issued Permit; Link to Virtual Hearing, Express Your View

Despite overwhelming  opposition to the Villela Epsilon offshore fish farm at the Sarasota EPA hearing, the Army Corps of Engineers is set to issue a permit without holding a hearing. The farm, the first in a proposed Gulf aquaculture opportunity area, poses grave danger to Sarasota marine life, the ecosystem, tourism and the economy. Fish waste, pollution and excess feed may increase red tide blooms. Please join the Virtual Hearing to express your views.
