Siesta County Commission election results

August 24 —

For Sarasota County District 2 (north of Stickney Point Rd), Mark Smith won the Republican primary and Fred Atkins won the Democratic primary. For Sarasota County district 4 (south of Stickney Point Road), Joe Neunder won the Republican primary. Daniel Keuther ran unopposed for the Democratic nomination.

July 15, 2022 —

On July 19th from 5:30 to 7pm, plan to attend a Candidate Forum with Sarasora County Commission candidates from Siesta Key Districts 2 and 4. The forum will be held in the Siesta Key Chapel at 4615 Gleason Avenue, Siesta Key.

The goal is to help educate and inform residents of Siesta Key before the upcoming primary elections. You will have the opportunity to hear positions on issues which impact Siesta Key from all District 2 and 4 candidates, except Joe Neunder, who has a family obligation.
