County Commission Public Hearing regarding Private Property Signs on Beaches

The Sarasota Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on proposed new “incidental signs” regulations related to the demarcation of private beach front property.  Beach front property owners have recently placed signs on their private  property warning beach goers  to  inhabit only the beach area gulf ward of the Mean High Water Line.  This discussion will focus on the signs themselves (e.g. number, material, placement)  rather than property boundaries.
