According to the event website, “The 10th Annual Andrew Monroe Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk takes place on the #1 Rated Siesta Key Beach in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. The event provides scholarships for further education to Riverview High School Senior Soccer players, JROTC Cadets and Track Athletes. If there are remaining funds, they will continue to grow the Sarasota Community Foundation Scholarship’s in Andrew’s name ”
