Siesta Key beach fireworks begin at dusk, approximately 8 pm and last to 9:30 pm at 948 Beach Road. Traffic will be heavy, especially as cars leave the island after the display. Sheriff deputies will be controlling traffic. They may hold intersections open at the north and south bridges. Be sure to follow their directions to keep the traffic flowing and accident free. If traveling north off the Key, be aware of the new mini roundabout at Ocean Boulevard and Higel Avenue.
